The magic behind our drink is matcha. It's a superfood that's been popular in Asia for hundreds of years for it's numerous benefits - ranging from increase in metabolism / fat burning to mental focus to preventing disease.

GINSENG

Another rather magical ingredient from Asia, Ginseng reduces inflammation, boosts brain function, and fights tiredness. Dosing Ginseng with matcha increases it's effects and helps you perform better with the task at hand, while also being great for every day health.

L-CITRULLINE

Used by fitness enthusiasts to get a pump at the gym, L-citrulline helps you get extra blood flow. Besides the benefits of higher performance at the gym, L-citrulline helps lower blood pressure and even helps you perform when you're doing various *fun* night-time activities.

CAFFEINE + L-THEANINE

The L-theanine in matcha helps to get you energized with caffeine without the crash, and is one of the most well researched nootropic combos. In fact studies show that L-theanine and caffeine in combination are beneficial for improving performance on cognitively demanding tasks.

 HOW TO TAKE PERFORMANCE MATCHA


SIMPLE METHOD

Create your drink in 25 seconds

Simply mix one scoop of BE MORE with 8-12 ounces of water. We recommend using a frother or blender to mix up your matcha really well! If the sweetness level is too high, use either more water or less milk.


SHAKE

Adding it to your daily shake will help you eat a healthy, light breakfast that will fire you up for the day

Add BE MORE with frozen fruit and 8-12 oz of almond milk to make a healthy delicious breakfast shake. We recommend taking it with a banana for added creaminess

01 // MATCHA

What if the key to weight loss, living healthier, and optimizing your day came in one superfood?

Matcha is a potent form of green tea that contains 10x the antioxidants. Many scientific studies have been done on the ingredient.


One reason why we based our brand around matcha is the weight and metabolism component. One study showed that taking green tea extract while exercising increased fat burning by 17% (source).


Another study found taking a supplement containing green tea extract significantly boosted 24-hour energy expenditure, compared to a placebo (source).


A review of 11 studies also showed that green tea reduced body weight and helped maintain weight loss (source).


Matcha is also helpful for the brain, in fact one study showed the increase of reaction time, memory, and attention (source).


While human studies are still needed, there is evidence that have shown that cancer production is limited when green tea extract is used in rats and animals.

  • Is this drink already sweet?

Yes, we’ve used zero calorie and natural sweeteners to sweeten this drink. If it’s too sweet, mix with extra water or milk substitute to dilute the taste. You can also mix with unsweetened almond milk to dilute the sweetness.

  • What if it's too sweet for me?

Try taking a smaller scoop or diluting this with water / unsweetened almond milk. We've also had users have a better experience when mixing this as a smoothie.

  • Does this contain sweeteners?

Yes, we use Stevia and Sucralose to sweeten this drink.

  • Does this drink contain caffeine?

Yes. This product contains caffeine. Roughly 110mg from the matcha and added caffeine.

  • How often can I take this?

We recommend you take this daily, up to twice a day depending on your energy needs for the day. Depending on your tolerance to caffeine / body weight, you may need to take more. Experiment with your dosage to see what works for you.


How much is too much?


We recommend no more than 3 scoops of this in one day, however people with different body sizes may have different tolerance levels. It would take a very large amount of this product to start feeling adverse effects, since matcha generally gives a natural energy boost and L-theanine naturally removes the caffeine jitters, but if you find yourself feeling overly jittery or feel sick to the stomach, you should stop taking this product. 


  • Is this easy to make?

Simply add 8 oz of water (or milk / milk substitute) to one scoop, and mix. A blender works, but a regular mixing spoon works great too. You can also try making smoothies by adding bananas and other fruits. 

  • Does this break my fast if I'm doing intermittent fasting?

Not if you take it with water. Because this is a very small amount of calories, this generally is considered to be fine for intermittent fasting. It has about the same amount of calories as black coffee per scoop (<5 calories)

  • What is your refund policy?

We will accept refunds on unopened product within 30 days. For cases where product is damaged or orders have some kind of issue, we can send a new product. Please contact info@bemorematcha.com to initiate a refund.

  • My order is messed up somehow! What can I do?

We will re-send any wrong orders. We can also send a refund within 30 days of receiving the order.

  • How quick is shipping?

Due to COVID-19, there may be more delays than usual during shipping. Generally shipping will take less than 5 days domestically (in the US), but internationally the time will vary depending on where you’re from - generally it will take 7-14 days for international shipping.
