ENTER YOUR FLOW STATE... and burn some calories while you're at it

Whether you're writing an important presentation, or playing in the championship game, entering "the zone" is important. Once you're in it, everything you do seems effortless.

But how do you achieve that level of performance every time you step into the gym or when you start that next presentation?

Caffeine definitely helps - it's why coffee is the drink of choice for many. The problem with coffee is you get an hour or two of performance benefits before crashing.

In Asia, matcha tea is the drink of choice, because it delivers caffeine along with L-theanine, which helps you get the energy without the jitters and crash.

We combined matcha with some of our other favorite ingredients to create a drink that can help you do it all.

MATCHA

The magic behind our drink is matcha. It's a superfood that's been popular in Asia for hundreds of years for it's numerous benefits - ranging from increase in metabolism / fat burning to mental focus to preventing disease.

GINSENG

Another rather magical ingredient from Asia, Ginseng reduces inflammation, boosts brain function, and fights tiredness. Dosing Ginseng with matcha increases it's effects and helps you perform better with the task at hand, while also being great for every day health.

L-CITRULLINE

Used by fitness enthusiasts to get a pump at the gym, L-citrulline helps you get extra blood flow. Besides the benefits of higher performance at the gym, L-citrulline helps lower blood pressure and even helps you perform when you're doing various *fun* night-time activities.

CAFFEINE + L-THEANINE

The L-theanine in matcha helps to get you energized with caffeine without the crash, and is one of the most well researched nootropic combos. In fact studies show that L-theanine and caffeine in combination are beneficial for improving performance on cognitively demanding tasks.

CRITICS SAY IT TASTES GREAT!

Let’s be real - the drinks that are overloaded with “health” ingredients, generally taste like you put mud in water. During the creation of BE MORE we narrowed down our ingredients to the most important ones, and underwent a rigorous taste testing process to make sure BE MORE tastes amazing.

 HOW TO TAKE PERFORMANCE MATCHA

SIMPLE METHOD

Create your drink in 25 seconds

Simply mix one scoop of BE MORE with 8-12 ounces of water. We recommend using a frother or blender to mix up your matcha really well! If the sweetness level is too high, use either more water or less milk.

SHAKE

Adding it to your daily shake will help you eat a healthy, light breakfast that will fire you up for the day

Add BE MORE with frozen fruit and 8-12 oz of almond milk to make a healthy delicious breakfast shake. We recommend taking it with a banana for added creaminess

THE RESEARCH BEHIND OUR INGREDIENTS

01 // MATCHA

What if the key to weight loss, living healthier, and optimizing your day came in one superfood?

Matcha is a potent form of green tea that contains 10x the antioxidants. Many scientific studies have been done on the ingredient.

One reason why we based our brand around matcha is the weight and metabolism component. One study showed that taking green tea extract while exercising increased fat burning by 17% (source).

Another study found taking a supplement containing green tea extract significantly boosted 24-hour energy expenditure, compared to a placebo (source).

A review of 11 studies also showed that green tea reduced body weight and helped maintain weight loss (source).

Matcha is also helpful for the brain, in fact one study showed the increase of reaction time, memory, and attention (source).

While human studies are still needed, there is evidence that have shown that cancer production is limited when green tea extract is used in rats and animals.

02 // GINSENG

An Asian ingredient that's never talked about in the West has the power to improve your focus, immunity, and blood sugar.

Ginseng is a popular herbal supplement that is believed to have a variety of health benefits. Some of the potential benefits of ginseng include:

Reducing stress and fatigue: According to a systematic review published in the Journal of Ginseng Research, ginseng may help reduce stress and fatigue by increasing the levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain.

Improving cognitive function: Some studies have suggested that ginseng may help improve cognitive function, particularly in older adults. A meta-analysis published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that ginseng may help improve memory, attention, and other cognitive processes.

Boosting the immune system: Some research suggests that ginseng may help boost the immune system by increasing the production of certain immune cells. A study published in the Journal of Ginseng Research found that ginseng may help improve the immune response to certain viruses and bacteria.

Lowering blood sugar levels: There is some evidence that ginseng may help lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that ginseng may help improve insulin sensitivity and reduce blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.

Anti-cancer properties: A review of available literature published in the Journal of Ginseng Research found that ginseng may have anti-cancer properties by inhibiting the growth and spread of cancer cells and also by increasing the effectiveness of chemotherapy.

It's important to note that more research is needed to confirm the benefits of ginseng and to determine the appropriate dosage and duration of use. Additionally, ginseng may interact with certain medications, so it's important to talk to a healthcare provider before taking it.

03 // L-CITRULLINE

Did you know blood flow is vital for optimal health?

L-Citrulline is an amino acid that is believed to have a variety of health benefits. Some of the potential benefits of L-Citrulline include:

Improving cardiovascular health: L-Citrulline may help improve cardiovascular health by reducing blood pressure, decreasing the risk of heart disease and improving blood flow to the heart. A study published in the journal "Hypertension" found that L-Citrulline supplementation improves blood pressure and arterial stiffness in patients with hypertension.

Increasing exercise performance: L-Citrulline may help increase exercise performance by reducing muscle fatigue and soreness. A study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research found that L-Citrulline supplementation improved muscle endurance and reduced muscle soreness in healthy adults.

Enhancing sexual function: L-Citrulline may help enhance sexual function by improving blood flow to the genitals. A study published in the journal "Urology" found that L-Citrulline supplementation improves erectile function in men with mild erectile dysfunction.

Supporting Kidney function: L-Citrulline may help support kidney function by reducing the formation of kidney stones and ameliorating kidney disease. A study published in the journal "PLoS One" found that L-Citrulline supplementation reduced the risk of kidney stone formation in patients with metabolic disorders.

Boosting Nitric Oxide levels: L-Citrulline is a precursor of L-Arginine, which is a substrate for the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), and thus L-Citrulline supplementation can boost nitric oxide levels in blood vessels. A study published in the journal "Nitric Oxide" found that L-Citrulline supplementation increased nitric oxide levels and improved blood flow in healthy adults.

04 // CAFFEINE + L-THEANINE

There's a nootropic combo that's more used that any other to induce focus and energy, without crashing.

Caffeine and L-theanine are two substances that are commonly consumed together due to their potential benefits when stacked together. Some of the potential benefits of caffeine and L-theanine stacked together include:

Improved cognitive function: A study published in the journal "Psychopharmacology" found that caffeine and L-theanine together can improve cognitive function, particularly in areas such as attention, reaction time and task switching.

Reduced anxiety: L-theanine is known to have anti-anxiety properties, and when stacked with caffeine, it can reduce the negative effects of caffeine such as jitters and anxiety. A study published in the journal "Nutrients" found that caffeine and L-theanine together can reduce anxiety levels in healthy adults.

Increased focus and attention: Caffeine is a stimulant that can increase focus and attention, and when combined with L-theanine it can improve attentional performance. A study published in the journal "Biological Psychology" found that caffeine and L-theanine together can improve attentional performance, particularly in tasks that require sustained attention.

Increased creativity: A study published in the journal "Psychopharmacology" found that caffeine and L-theanine together can increase creativity, particularly in tasks that require divergent thinking.

Improved mood: Caffeine and L-theanine together can improve mood, as L-theanine can reduce the negative effects of caffeine and promote relaxation and calmness. A study published in the journal "Nutrients" found that caffeine and L-theanine together can improve overall mood and reduce feelings of stress.
